We started this year. High schoolers from Venice and Culver City, mostly. The Breakwater and the Pier are our spots.

Venice Surf Team is a free-to-join, competitive surf team for high school-aged surfers from Venice, Culver City, and the surrounding areas. We’re based at the Breakwater and open to anyone who wants to compete.
We compete in the South Bay Scholastic Surf Association. No pay-to-play, no gear requirements. Just show up and surf.
VST is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. Every dollar we raise goes to league fees, insurance, and coaching — nothing to overhead.
We also keep an eye out for ways to give back. Regular beach cleanups at the Breakwater are part of who we are.
